Want to wow your friends and family? We’ve got just the thing. Learn to design, dye, and print your own t-shirt during our 2 day Spring Break Camp. Using plants as inspiration, learn vector design to create your own t-shirt designs. Then learn the screen printing process to print your design onto a t-shirt perfect for spring and summer. We’ll start with white shirts that you will learn to dye your favorite color using shibori (tie-dye) techniques.

The workshop will focus on creative writing in the musical and spoken word genres. Emphasis will be placed on the students personal stories as several exercises will be utilized for their personal discovery. Emphasis will be placed on the values of discipline, creativity, confidence, communication, and respect of others.

During this time students will also form 1 or more creative pieces of their own. Big Piph will assist them through the process which includes, but is not limited to topics, writing, delivery, and beat selection (when relevant). Students will also be given directions on performance techniques for a presentation at the end of the workshop.

Train with the professional dancers of Ballet Arkansas over Spring Break! Join
Ballet Arkansas for one week of dance classes in the disciplines of ballet, jazz, contemporary,
pilates, conditioning, choreography, and improvisation. At the end of each day, dancers will
work on a piece which will be performed with the Arkansas Repertory Theatre and the Arkansas
Symphony Orchestra at noon on Friday! 

Attire & Shoes
Comfortable ballet dance attire (leotard and tights) or athletic apparel is acceptable for all classes. Please bring warm ups for “Conditioning.”  Dancers should bring tennis shoes for “Conditioning” – ballet slippers or jazz shoes for “Let’s Get Moving” – ballet shoes for Ballet Class – pointe shoes for pointe class (if applicable).

Lunch
Dancers will need to bring their own snack or sack lunch.

Calling all boys for a half-day intensive with an all male staff! Train and strengthen with dance classes, including ballet and conditioning.

This 2 day intensive for Intermediate and Advanced dancers ages 13 + offers a wide range of dance classes including Pilates, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Repertoire, Conditioning and Improvisation. Train with the professional dancers Ballet Arkansas and return from Spring Break inspired and refreshed! *Five years of dance training recommended

“We must be over the rainbow!” In an imaginative week combining theatre activities, design projects, music, and movement, students will explore the full spectrum of performing arts in a fun and supportive environment. Working with The Rep’s professional faculty, young artists will develop a short and colorful performance to present in collaboration with students at Ballet Arkansas and The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. No previous theatrical experience is required.

What to bring: Water bottle, snacks

Trust Tree Presents: Rhythm and Ukulele

Join the rockstar female musicians and arts educators of Trust Tree for an afternoon of making music together!

Girls will learn how to form chords and play the ukulele in rhythm and will put their new skills into practice by learning a song from start to finish. Some fun rhythm games will get us warmed up and strumming together.

Open to girls 9-16 years old at all musical levels. No musical experience is necessary and all ukuleles will be provided.

With guidance and assistance from Trust Tree facilitators, girls will amaze themselves at what they can accomplish on an instrument in just a few hours…and have lots of fun along the way.

Trust Tree is a 501c3 nonprofit organization offering workshops and summer programs to uplift and inspire girls in Central Arkansas through music and art. www.trusttree.org
