2018 ACANSA FESTIVAL OPENING FT. All galleries will be open, including the Loft Gallery with an exhibition by the Arkansas Arts Center. Entertainment will be provided by “A Rowdy Faith”.
MILKDRIVE Date: September 18Time: 7:30 pmLocation: Ron Robinson TheaterTickets: $20 Following the Festival Opening, join us for a performance by “MilkDrive”. This Austin-based acoustic power team features four young players who will be doing things with their instruments that seem impossible for normal humans. Skilled multi-instrumentalists MilkDrive delivers a distinctive acoustic experience that crosses genres, geographies and generations with a progressive blend of bluegrass, jazz, and folk.

The Kings Men, a group of musicians who backed B.B. King, Elvis Presley and other musical Kings are joined by Steve Azar an award winning singer and songwriter from Greenville, Mississippi with a unique and soulful sound. They will be performing songs from their album “Down at the Liquor Store”.

This acapela group, featured on "The Sing-Off," creates its own mashups of current pop songs, Disney songs and even the legendary rock band Queen. “VoicePlay” can do it all, even without instruments.

Amy Poehler is one of four founding members. Together with Little Rock native Matt Besser, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh, the dynamic team joined forces in Chicago and set out for New York to bring laughter and light through their improv & sketch comedy.

ACANSA is excited to introduce a piece of art that will inspire the audience and educate them on the hosting of Little Rock and the country as a whole.
